About
I’m not entirely sure why I’m doing this. The diary of a bloke who has no job, no prospect of a job, no hobbies beyond XBox and very little imagination can’t fail to stimulate. I guess at least I’ll be able to document the events leading up to my deportation and why I ended up living in Ireland before Christmas.

Hello Darren,
Hope all is well, I understand the porn conversation, I think its the yankie accents that put me off. Anyhoo day by day they will wreck your head and you will get sick of repeating yourself. At least you get real snow, so you can go skiing!!!! Upstate NY is fab in the fall!!!
Hey Darren – Enjoying the blog. You’re getting a shitload of mail (bills?) etc… here at BBC WW. If there’s anything interesting we can forward it on – if you mail your address details (and assuming you actually want it).
Hope you’re getting on ok with the Top Trumps

Hi there,
Give Walt Mossburg a run for his money. And as you don’t look mexican you’ll have more luck.
TTFN.
Hi Darren,
I came across your site while searching for British pubs in NY where I could watch Eastenders on Saturday nights (instead of watching it at home). Your blog mentioned a pub and supermarket in Queens and I am curious about the names and locations. BTW – if you have any interest in Weetabix you can get them inexpensively at Trader Joe’s supermarkets.
Hey Darren,
Good to see you’ve found your calling – especially if someone found your blog while searching for New Yoyk pubs – great work fella. I guess you won’t be back in NZ any time soon, but probably a good thing. They’ve only gone and closed down the local bar. Need to find an alternative drinking spot with sea views before you next come.
Look after yourself.

Darren.
Sorry we missed you on your recent visit back home. Glad to see your’e doing the decent thing and marrying the girl! She sounds really great – good luck with all the visa paraphenalia, hope it gets sorted quickly.
Love to all
